Types of Lessons
At Home Aquatics Swim School offers three different styles of teaching: Private, Semi-Private, and Group lessons, so you can customize each lesson to fit the student’s learning style.
Private Lessons
Private lessons work on a one student to one instructor basis and provide the most individual attention for a student. They are for children that enjoy individual attention and for those that are shy or easily distracted in a group setting.
Semi-Private Lessons
Semi-private lessons work on a two student to one instructor ratio. You can choose to pair two students of similar abilities and share the lesson time, or you can dedicate half the time to each student if they are not at comparable skill levels. Semi-private lessons are great options for those who want to pair their child with a friend, or even a sibling.
Group Lessons
Group lessons are designed to work with a group of three students or as large as six students to one instructor. Group lessons are very effective in getting the student to learn with and from others and are very time and cost efficient.
Adaptive Lessons
Adaptive lessons are private lessons specifically designed for individuals with developmental and learning challenges. Jacob is the specialist instructor for Adaptive lessons as he has vast experience in paraprofessional education.
