Why We Do What We Do
At Home Aquatics feels very strongly that everyone should know the basics of survival swimming. We make it a priority to teach every student the skills necessary to survive should they fall into the water. We also encourage students to learn at an early age. Infants and toddlers learn to swim quickly because of their motor development and absence of fear when it comes to water. Older children often develop fears as a result of an emerging imagination and recognition of the water’s depth. Through our personalized instruction, students learn to swim and float in a matter of weeks, not years. Parents feel a sense of security knowing that their child has been taught crucial skills that will keep them safe and students feel the much needed confidence that allows them to advance through our swimming program and be equipped with the knowledge and skills to make them comfortable around water.
If your family enjoys swimming, boating, visiting family and vacationing around backyard pools or bodies of water, if you as a parent never learned how to swim and want to know that your child could save themselves in the case of an accidental fall in the water or if you simply want to encourage overall fitness and health through your child’s aquatic future teaching them that exercise can be fun, then At Home Aquatics is for you.
Our Mission
“Using swim instruction to help promote water safety and improve swimming skills that will last a lifetime and help develop confidence for individuals both in and out of the water.”
